金比羅公園 / Konpira Park

金比羅公園(位於北竜町)是兼有露營場的大型公園。公園裡面的池塘有小魚悠游其中,也可以看到青蛙等水棲生物。這裡作為可以讓小孩子學習自然的公園而著名。五月上旬是賞櫻期間。五月末芝櫻盛開時,地面會染成一片粉紅色。戶外的烤肉設施和露營場可以免費使用。

Konpira Park (Hokuryu Town) is a big park which also provides camping facilities. There is a big pond in which visitors can see small fish and riparian creatures such as frogs. This park is popular as kids can touch and learn about nature. In the beginning of May, people who come from Sorachi District enjoy seeing cherry blossoms at this park. In the end of May, a carpet of pink flowers, which is moss pink, spreads beautifully over the hills. There is another site for outdoor barbecues. The camping and barbecuing facilities are free of charge.












北斗展望台 / Hokuto Observation Deck

北斗展望台(位於釧路市)是在連接釧路市與鶴居村、弟子屈町的道53號線上。那裡設有寫著釧路濕原國立公園的紀念碑。從那裡可以瞭望整個釧路濕原。有寬廣的停車場,作為開車兜風途中的休息場所是最佳的地點。從這裡到需付費入場的釧路濕原展望台開車約數分鐘的距離。

Hokuto Observation Deck (Kushiro City) is on  Prefectural Road No.53, which is Doudou 53 in Japanese. This prefectural road runs from Kushiro City to Tsurui Village or Teshikaga Town. At this observation deck there is a monument showing Kushiro Shitsugen (marsh) National Park, and it could be good in a photo to show where you are. Visitors can take in a panoramic view from here. There is a large carpark, so this would be good for a rest during a trip by car. A few minutes by car from the Kushiro Marsh Observatory is  a paid museum.










釧路濕原遊憩步道~釧路濕原展望台路線 / Kushiro Marsh Footpath - Marsh Observatory Course

釧路濕原遊憩步道~釧路濕原展望台路線(釧路市)是釧路濕原的5個遊憩步道的其中1個,一周為2.5公里。起點是在也兼有博物館身份的付費參觀展望台,但是遊憩步道是可以免費使用的。冬天也開放使用。路途中也有吊橋。展望台裡面的飲食店、土特產店可以免費入場。廁所也不用錢。

Kushiro Marsh Footpath - Marsh Observatory Course (Kushiro City) is one of five walking paths in the marsh. Marsh Observatory Course's main path is a round trip which is 2.5 kilometers long. The course starts from the observatory which is a paid museum teaching about Kushiro Marsh. The footpath itself is free to walk and there is a suspension bridge on the path. Even in winter, visitors can enjoy walking there. As for the restaurant and the souvenir shop in the observatory, anyone can enter for free or use the toilets. Sometimes, red crowned cranes are seen there.

厚田港朝市 / Atsuta Fishing Harbor Morning Market

厚田港朝市(位於石狩市)在4月1日到10月中旬期間每天早上開市營業。是將厚田港每天捕獲的新鮮海產在簡易型的戶外店鋪中販賣。這裡可以看到當季所盛產的海產陳列販賣,十分有趣。例如在6月到8月這段期間便可以看到在賣當季的扇貝,營業時間從早上6點30分到下午14點左右。漁獲賣完就會結束營業,如果要去建議早一點出發。

Atsuta Fishing Harbor Morning Market (Ishikari City) is open every morning from April 1 to the middle of October. Located adjacent to the fishing port, prefab-style shops sell fresh seafood soon after it was caught. Seasonal seafood is lined up at the shops. For example, scallops are sold from June to August, and salmon is sold in September and October. They open at 6:30 in the morning, and close around 14:00. As they close when they are sold out, it is recommended to visit as early as possible.

釧路濕原野生動物保護中心 / Kushiro Shitsugen Wildlife Center

釧路濕原野生動物保護中心(位於釧路市)是日本環境省的設施,研究著野生動物的保育和繁殖以及濕原的維護。這裡也對一般遊客以解說牌或模擬模型來展示島貓頭鷹或丹頂鶴等有滅絕危機的野生動物和濕地的生態系。此外,這裡也對因受傷或生病而受到照顧的野生動物進行治療或復健。

Kushiro Shitsugen Wildlife Center (Kushiro City) is facility run by the Ministry of the Environment. The aim of this center is to preserve and increase wildlife, and to study how to preserve the Kushiro Marsh. In the exhibition rooms, things concerning animals facing extinction - such as the Blakiston's fish owl or the red crowned crane - are exhibited with information panels, stuffed animals or birds, diorama and photos. Admission is free, and it is like a museum. People can learn about the ecological system of Kushiro Marsh. Also, this center cures injured or sick wild animals and they are released back into nature.












釧路Fureai Horse Park / Kushiro Fureai Horse Park

Fureai Horse Park(位於釧路市)在釧路市動物園的隔壁。乘坐馬車或是騎馬體驗雖然需要費用但是入場參觀免費。對於想要拍攝馬的照片的人來說這個是很有用的資訊吧。此外,釧路市動物園入場雖然需要費用,但在這裡可以看到丹頂鶴等北海道的動物。這裡以活用自然地形的動物園受到良好的評價。

Kushiro Fureai Horse Park (Kushiro City) is next to Kushiro Zoo. In the horse park, activities such as riding in a horse carriage and horse riding are paid activities. Anyone can enter this park without paying though. For those who want to take photos of horses, this is a great location. In addition, Kushiro Zoo is of course a paid facility, but visitors can see native Hokkaido animals such as red crowned cranes. This zoo is acknowledged by zoologists as a good zoo park for using the natural environment effectively to keep and show animals. The polar bear is popular.








天売島Footpath / Teuri Footpath

天売島Footpath (位於羽幌町)是位於天売島可步行到中央地區森林的小徑。是可以一邊欣賞島內的花卉與植物,可以邊聆聽野鳥的鳴叫聲一邊散步。這裡的道路建成可以讓自行車通過。在森林的內部有可以供休息的遊客中心。請注意除了遊客中心裡其他地方沒有廁所。推薦參觀的季節為5月到10月。

Teuri Footpath (Haboro Town) allows visitors to feel the wild nature of a forest located in the center of Teuri Island. People can walk while enjoying looking at flowers and plants and also listening the song of wild birds. Bicycles are allowed on the path too. In the inner part of the forest, there is a visitor center where people can take a rest. This is only place where toilets can be found on the path. The best season to walk there is from May to October. Half a day is enough to fully explore the path. Staying a night on the island is probably more enjoyable.

Urahoro

Urahoro(位於浦幌町)是位於國道38號線上的道路休息站,是在帶廣市與釧路市之間很受歡迎的休息場所。浦幌町是由面向太平洋的區域和廣闊的內陸部分所構成,做為基礎產業的有漁業和農業、畜牧產業等範圍廣泛。因此,道路休息站所販賣的特產品有海產類、豆類、蔬菜、肉類的加工食品等種類繁多。特別是使用豆類所製作的零食很受歡迎。

Urahoro (Urahoro Town) is a road station on route 38 which is popular for taking a break for those traveling between Obihiro City and Kushiro City by car. The main industries of Urahoro Town range from from fishing to horticulture and livestock as the town is spread over both seaside and pastureland. At the shop in this road station, a lot of of various foodstuffs are sold - processed seafood, meat and snacks made from beans are popular. Beans are used for several popular products such as daifuku (soft round rice cake stuffed with sweet bean jam) and dried beans with various seasonings.





石狩濱海濱植物保護中心 / Ishikarihama Coastal Plant Conservation Center

石狩濱海濱植物保護中心(位於石狩市)是在海邊附近進行培育珍貴植物的保護活動的設施。夏季時盛開的美麗花朵-藿香玫瑰,昔日曾在石狩濱聚集生長,然而現今數量逐漸減少中。另外作為食用而遭到亂摘採的珊瑚菜,現今已經被禁止摘採了。在保護中心便可以學習到這些珍貴的海濱植物和動物的知識。

Ishikarihama Coastal Plant Conservation Center (Ishikari City) is involved in the conservation of plants which grow on sandy dunes near the sea in salty wind. The number of these coastal plants is decreasing. The Rugosa rose - hamanasu in Japanese - which has beautiful, small, pink flowers in summer is an example. Also, the Glehnia - hamaboufu in Japanese - is an edible plant from the carrot family. The gathering of hamaboufu is now strictly forbidden. Visitors can learn about these important plants as well as animals which live near the sea. About 50 species of plants can be seen in their garden.

定山溪溫泉溪流鯉魚旗祭 / Jozankei Hot Springs Keiryu Koinobori

定山溪溫泉溪流鯉魚旗祭(位於札幌市南區)是每年4月中旬到5月上旬會在流經溫泉街的豐平川上面懸掛數百條的鯉魚旗的活動,於1987年開始的。懸掛鯉魚旗是日本傳統活動之一,是在5月5日日本的「兒童節」時祈求孩子們能健康的象徵物。作成鯉魚造型的大型旗幟隨風飄揚著。

Jozankei Hot Springs Keiryu Koinobori (Sapporo City Minami-ku) is an event in which hundreds of koinobori are hung over Toyohira River, which runs through the hot spring town. Koinobori are made of cloth and they depict carp. Carp are recognized as strong fish in Japan. Koinobori is a Japanese traditional event devoted to the good health of children. It is held on May 5 which is Children's Day, a public holiday, in Japan. In Jozankei, this is one of the attractions in spring, and it is held from the middle of April to the first week of May every year.

支笏湖 / Lake Shikotsu

支笏湖(位於千歲市)是由古代火山活動所形成的火口湖,是日本第二深的火口湖。平均水深為265公尺,透明度很高。因為位於距離札幌只要開車約一小時的地點,也是從札幌出發的一日遊熱門觀光景點。湖泊名字的由來是由阿伊努語的「很大的窪地」。也有可以學習到支笏湖周遭自然環境的遊客中心(免費入場)。

Lake Shikotsu (Chitose City) was created by ancient volcanic activity, with this crater lake being the second deepest in Japan. The average depth of the lake is 265 meters and the water is renowned for its transparency. As Lake Shikotsu is not so far from Sapporo, it is a good destination for a one-day trip for people living in Sapporo. It takes only about an hour by car. The name Shikotsu is derived from the Ainu (aboriginal people of Hokkaido) language for "a big crater". There is a free visitor center where people can learn about the lake's environment, animals and plants.






Salmon Park千歲 / Salmon Park Chitose

Salmon Park千歲(位於千歲市)是距離北海道的空中玄關-新千歲機場約15分鐘車程的道路休息站。道路休息站裡面除了有美食街與餐廳之外,也有販賣農產品的商店。也可以拿到千歲市的觀光地圖。建築物的內側有以鮭魚返鄉洄流而著名的千歲川,也建有可以在水邊遊玩的公園。

Salmon Park Chitose (Chitose City) is a road station on Route 337, which connects Chitose City with Otaru City. It takes about 15 minutes by car from New Chitose Airport, which is known as the main gateway to Hokkaido for aircraft. In the main building, a food court, two restaurants and a shop selling local vegetables and processed food are housed. Visitors can get a free travel brochure of the area. Behind the building, the very beautiful Chitose River runs. This river is famous for salmon. A park where visitors can have fun with water from the river is there too.
