定山溪溫泉溪流鯉魚旗祭 / Jozankei Hot Springs Keiryu Koinobori

定山溪溫泉溪流鯉魚旗祭（位於札幌市南區）是每年4月中旬到5月上旬會在流經溫泉街的豐平川上面懸掛數百條的鯉魚旗的活動，於1987年開始的。懸掛鯉魚旗是日本傳統活動之一，是在5月5日日本的「兒童節」時祈求孩子們能健康的象徵物。作成鯉魚造型的大型旗幟隨風飄揚著。

Jozankei Hot Springs Keiryu Koinobori (Sapporo City Minami-ku) is an event in which hundreds of koinobori are hung over Toyohira River, which runs through the hot spring town. Koinobori are made of cloth and they depict carp. Carp are recognized as strong fish in Japan. Koinobori is a Japanese traditional event devoted to the good health of children. It is held on May 5 which is Children's Day, a public holiday, in Japan. In Jozankei, this is one of the attractions in spring, and it is held from the middle of April to the first week of May every year.

支笏湖 / Lake Shikotsu

支笏湖（位於千歲市）是由古代火山活動所形成的火口湖，是日本第二深的火口湖。平均水深為265公尺，透明度很高。因為位於距離札幌只要開車約一小時的地點，也是從札幌出發的一日遊熱門觀光景點。湖泊名字的由來是由阿伊努語的「很大的窪地」。也有可以學習到支笏湖周遭自然環境的遊客中心（免費入場）。

Lake Shikotsu (Chitose City) was created by ancient volcanic activity, with this crater lake being the second deepest in Japan. The average depth of the lake is 265 meters and the water is renowned for its transparency. As Lake Shikotsu is not so far from Sapporo, it is a good destination for a one-day trip for people living in Sapporo. It takes only about an hour by car. The name Shikotsu is derived from the Ainu (aboriginal people of Hokkaido) language for "a big crater". There is a free visitor center where people can learn about the lake's environment, animals and plants.

Salmon Park千歲 / Salmon Park Chitose

Salmon Park千歲（位於千歲市）是距離北海道的空中玄關-新千歲機場約15分鐘車程的道路休息站。道路休息站裡面除了有美食街與餐廳之外，也有販賣農產品的商店。也可以拿到千歲市的觀光地圖。建築物的內側有以鮭魚返鄉洄流而著名的千歲川，也建有可以在水邊遊玩的公園。

Salmon Park Chitose (Chitose City) is a road station on Route 337, which connects Chitose City with Otaru City. It takes about 15 minutes by car from New Chitose Airport, which is known as the main gateway to Hokkaido for aircraft. In the main building, a food court, two restaurants and a shop selling local vegetables and processed food are housed. Visitors can get a free travel brochure of the area. Behind the building, the very beautiful Chitose River runs. This river is famous for salmon. A park where visitors can have fun with water from the river is there too.

花卉道路ENIWA / Hana Road Eniwa

花卉道路ENIWA(位於惠庭市）是位於連結札幌市、千歲市、苫小牧市等區域的國道36號線旁的道路休息站。惠庭市以花卉作為關鍵字致力於相關的觀光推廣。道路休息站的建築物內有販賣當地名產的商店、麵包店和餐廳。緊鄰建築物隔壁也有販賣當地農產品的商店。在這裡也可以取得觀光地圖。

Hana Road Eniwa (Eniwa City) is a road station on Route 36, which connects Sapporo City with cities in southern Ishikari District such as Eniwa City and Chitose City, but also cities in Iburi District such as Tomakomai City and Muroran City. The keyword of promotion for Eniwa tourism is flower. Hana actually means flower in English. In the main building of the road station, there is a shop selling local products, a bakery and a restaurant. Next to the building, there is another shop which sells farm products from Eniwa. Visitors can help themselves to a free sightseeing map for the city.

札幌電視塔 / Sapporo TV Tower

In October 2015, YAKEI Convention and Visitors Bureau designated Sapporo's Night View as one of Japan's Top 3 most beautiful. Yakei translates to 'night view' in English. The two other cities were Kobe and Nagasaki. In commemoration of this, Sapporo TV Tower - a symbolic place to see the night view - introduced a special discount for their observation deck. The scene is famous because photos taken from there are frequently used in travel guides. To get the discount, visit their webpage - hyperlink is below - and show it by smart phone at the ticket counter on the third floor. This will get you a 20% discount. Ronbaba的海灘 / Ronbaba Beach

Ronbaba的海灘（位於天売島）是個誰都可以去海邊遊玩的小岩岸。到了夏天特別受到小孩子們的歡迎。因為是沿岸，所以很難赤腳走進海裡，但是穿著海灘鞋就可以進入海裡抓小螃蟹和貝類。海水深度很淺，大概是可以將褲管捲起來直接走進去的深度。可以在這裡遠眺鄰近的燒尻島。從渡輪碼頭走到這裡約3分鐘。

Ronbaba Beach (Teuri Island) is a small beach consisting of rocks and small pieces of crushed rocks. People can enjoy catching and releasing small crabs and shellfish there. This beach is open from May to September, and is especially popular with children in summer. As the beach is made up of rocks - which can be sharp - beach sandals are recommended. The sea is not so deep, and if one rolls up their trousers they can wade in the water safely.  Yagishiri Island can be seen by the naked eye at from Ronbaba Beach, which is about three minutes on foot from the ferry terminal.

海鳥觀察小屋 / The Seabird Observation Hut

海鳥觀察小屋（位於天売島）是位於千鳥之浦園地的小屋。那裡設有免費的望遠鏡，可以觀察棲息在高度100公尺以上的斷崖絕壁周遭的海鳥。在那裡也可以看得到於2004年時所設置的崖海鴉模型（瀕臨絕種動物）崖海鴉因捕食的鯡魚的減少，或是被漁網纏繞到，造成數量急速減少，但有逐漸增加中。

The Seabird Observation Hut (Teuri Island) is a small wooden cabin at Chidorigaura. There are free telescopes in the cabin and visitors can look at seabirds living on cliffs which are more than 100 meters high. This place is important because a couple of common murres - a species in danger of extinction - live there. In 2004, some decoys were installed on the middle of the steep cliff to invite common murres. The reason they are facing extinction is that their main food, herring, has decreased. They also accidentally get tangled in fishing nets in the sea. However, their number is gradually increasing.
