Asahi Park's Iris Garden (Haboro Town) grows iris, or sometimes called blue flag in English. There are lot of white, pink and purple irises, with July being the best month to see these beautiful flowers. Although the season to enjoy seeing the flowers is short, it is a good opportunity for tourists. For a long time, the iris has been used as a medicinal plant to make the body warm, or as an aromatic herb for perfume. They aren't just beautiful flowers. At the same time, the water lilies blooms in the park. There is a camping site where people can enjoy having a barbecue.
