北黃金貝塚公園 / Kita Kogane Shell Mound Park

北黃金貝塚公園（位於伊達市）為繩紋時代前期（西元5000年～3000年前）的貝塚，是可以參觀還原當時的居所的公園。公園內也有入場免費的博物館。整體來說是保存狀態十分良好的遺跡，學術上來說也是十分貴重的地點。是用扇貝的貝殼所鋪滿的山丘為象徵的公園。繩紋乃是指以繩作為紋樣的土器。

Kita Kogane Shell Mound Park (Date City) is a historical site where visitors can learn about shell mounds and see restored dwellings of the Early Jomon Period (about 7000 to 5500 years ago). This park also houses a free museum. This site was discovered in good condition, and is academically important. On a hill in the park, scallops shells are spread and it gives us a feeling like we are standing at a very special spot. Incidentally, Jomon means the pattern made by a rope pressing on soft clay. The Jomon Period was an age when Jomon style earthenware was used.
