宮島沼澤 / Miyajimanuma Marsh

ふ宮島沼澤（位於美唄市）以候鳥的雁鳥飛來棲息而聞名。雁鳥飛來宮島沼澤的時期為4月中旬至下旬和9月下旬至10月上旬。最多可觀賞到6萬隻雁鳥齊飛的壯觀美景。早上雁鳥們一起飛離開沼澤，中午在附近覓食稻穀，在太陽快下山時回來。在沼澤休息數天後再度遷徙到另一個棲地。宮島沼澤一整年都可以觀察到野鳥。也有可以學習野鳥知識的設施。

Miyajimanuma (Bibai City) is a famous marsh which is home to the migrant bird, the Greater white-fronted goose ("magan" in Japanese). They come twice a year, from the middle to end of April and the end of September to the beginning of October. At the peak of the migration, visitors can see 60,000 magan a day. They fly around from early morning together and eat food such as rice hulls during the day. Then, they come back together around the time of sunset. They stay for days and they head to their next destination. At this marsh, visitors can see various wild birds in all seasons. There is a center to study wild birds.
