南FURANO / Minami Furano

南FURANO（位於南富良野町） 是在國道38號沿線上的道路休息站。隔壁有水庫形成的湖泊-KANAYAMA湖。KANAYAMA湖和空知川盛行獨木舟。 道路休息站建築物的特徵就是將獨木舟的弓型尖端作為概念的外觀。 一樓有大型水槽，裡面有空知川和KANAYAMA湖內棲息的伊富魚、雨鱒魚和石斑魚等淡水魚優游著。 二樓也有以森林為主題的展示空間。

Minami Furano (Minami Furano Town) is a road station on route 38. Lake Kanayama is an artificial lake created by a dam, upon the shores of which this road station stands. At Lake Kanayama and Sorachi River, canoeing is popular. In recognition of that the architectural design of the building incorporates the shape of a canoe. On the first floor, there is a big fish tank on display, with Itou, Amemasu or Ugui, which are fish living in the freshwater of the lake and river are swimming there. On the second floor, there is an exhibition room displaying the forest and wood in the town.

佐呂間湖 / Saromako

佐呂間湖（位於佐呂間町）是在國道238號沿線上的道路休息站。如同其名，道路休息站建造在佐呂間湖的正對面。提供鄂霍次克海沿岸區域的觀光資訊。裡面的商店有備齊許多鄂霍次克地區的特產品。在餐廳可以品嚐到佐呂間町特產的烤扇貝（通年皆可）和烤牡蠣（11月～1月），可以瞭望到整個佐呂間湖的展望台也在附近。

Saromako (Saroma Town) is a road station on route 238, which connects Abashiri City and Wakkanai City, mainly running along the coast facing the Sea of Okhotsk. Saromako means Lake Saroma in English. It’s the biggest lake in Hokkaido and the third biggest in Japan. As a tourist desk is housed in the road station, visitors can find a plethora of tourism information there. At the restaurant, grilled scallops (through a year) and grilled oysters (seasonal from November to January) are specialties. In the shop, local products or souvenirs from the Okhotsk area are sold. There is also an observation deck near the road station.

歌志內CHIRORU之湯 / Utashinai Tirol-no Yu

歌志內CHIRORU之湯（位於歌志內市）是位在道道赤平奈井江線幾乎在正中央的位置的道路休息站。這裡是不論要去道央地區、道北地區還是道東地區都很便利的交通據點。比鄰溫泉「CHIRORU之湯」。小賣店的特產是醃菜。備齊了當地所製作的各式各樣的醃菜。昔日以煤礦的城鎮而興盛有名，因此這裡有展示著巨大的煤炭塊。

Utashinai Tirol-no Yu (Utashinai City) is a road station in the relative center of Hokkaido’s Akabira Naie Line prefectural road. The location is easily accessible from any direction - Douou (central Hokkaido) area, Douhoku (northern Hokkaido) and Doutou (eastern Hokkaido). The Tirol-no-Yu Onsen facility is next to the road station. Tirol is derived from the Tyrol mountains in Europe and some locals say the landscapes are similar. At the shop, they focus on Japanese pickled vegetables and such, and there is a large range of unique pickle packs. As the city formerly flourished via a coal mine, a big mass of coal is exhibited.

貝殼廣場·港 / Shell Plaza Minato

貝殼廣場·港（位於蘭越町）是沿著日本海行駛的國道229號沿線上的道路休息站。緊鄰貝類的專門博物館「貝之館」（須另付費）。道路休息站的商店內有販賣在世界各地的海邊可以見到的貝殼。有用於飾品或室內裝潢用的加工過的貝殼製品。蘭越町山與海兩邊都有，在山區地帶農業也很興盛。在道路休息站可以享用到兩邊的特產品。

Shell Plaza Minato (Rankoshi Town) is a road station on route 229, which runs along the coast of the Sea of Japan. This road station is located next to the Shell Museum, Kai-no Yakata, which is a paid museum. This museum focuses on shells from all over the world; including rare shells, and some unique for their shapes. The road station shop sells accessories and ornaments made of shells, as well as local products. Rankoshi Town has both sea and mountain environs, resulting in a wide range of local specialties. Agricultural endeavors such as growing rice are predominant in the area.

天鵝44NEMURO / Swan 44 Nemuro

天鵝44NEMURO（位於根室市）位在國道44號沿線上，而且是位在風蓮湖眼前的道路休息站。有整面的玻璃，可以瞭望到日本著名的野鳥寶庫的風蓮湖和春國岱。有可以瞭望湖泊的散步道路。也可以觀賞到丹頂鶴和天鵝。餐廳內以海鮮為主的菜單很受歡迎。在鮮魚專櫃有販賣新鮮的海鮮。

Swan 44 Nemuro (Nemuro City) is a road station on route 44 located just in front of Lake Furen. As the exterior wall facing the lake is wide, clear, transparent glass; visitors can view the lake and Shunkunitai, a bushed wetland. There is a wooden walk board along the lake, which assists in making Lake Furen a mecca for bird watching. Sometimes, even red-crowned cranes or whooper swans can be seen. At the restaurant, they have many seafood dishes using fresh fish, or crabs caught off Nemuro. Route 44 connects Kushiro City and Nemuro City.

Odaitou

ODAITOU（位於別海町）是在國道244號沿線上的道路休息站。緊鄰從冬天到春天有數百隻天鵝會遷徙到這裡的「白鳥台」。腹地內設有為了祈願北方領土歸還所建設的大型雕刻作品。此外也有展望台，可以遠眺到野付半島豐富的自然以及國後島。1樓餐廳著名的扇貝料理很受歡迎。2樓和3樓為北方領土的資料館。

Odaitou (Betsukai Town) is a road station on route 244 located next to Hakuchou Dai, where a lot of swans take a rest during their long migration south. Hakucho means swan in English. In the grounds of the station, there is a tall sculpture which serves as a symbolic monument hoping that the Northern Territory is returned to Japan. It also has an observation deck which offers a great view of Notsuke Peninsula and Kunashiri Island. The popular choices at the restaurant on the first floor is dishes using scallops. On the second and third floor, there is a museum on the Northern Territory.

Star Plaza蘆別 / Star Plaza Ashibetsu

Star Plaza蘆別（位於蘆別市）是在國道38號沿線上的道路休息站。建築物的各處都以星星來設計裝飾。從上空看的話停車場的公共廁所也設計成星形圖案。1988年時由日本環境省的「星空的街道大賽」中被認定為可以很清楚看到星空的城鎮。從餐廳可以遠眺到空知川。蘆別因曾經的煤礦產地而興盛。

Star Plaza Ashibetsu (Ashibetsu City) is a road station on route 38. As this station focuses on the constellations above us, star-shaped decorations and ornaments are seen in the building. Even the design of the public toilets building located in the car parking is star-shaped too when seen from the air. In 1988, the city of Ashibetsu was designated by the Ministry of Environment ,as the result of the ‘Star Towns’ contest, as one of the places where beautiful stars can be observed. From the restaurant on the second floor, diners can enjoy the view of the Sorachi River. Ashibetsu used to be a hub of the coal mining industry.
