Moerenuma Park in winter

In winter, Moerenuma Park offers a unique experience showing off a landscape very different from summer. In winter, the whole site is covered with snow, and it’s a pure white world. Only the big art pieces by Isamu Noguchi, the designer of the park, remain visible in the white void. If you come here soon after snow has fallen, you can make footprints on the ground. If you have snowshoes, made of aluminium tubing and strapping, you can have even more fun. There are two man-made mountains to climb, Mt. Moere and Play Mountain, which has 99 steps made of rocks. Kids enjoy playing with their sleighs.
