Tsurunuma

TSURUNUMA(位於浦臼町)是在國道275號沿線上的道路休息站，位在從札幌往北約65公里處。是個有著廣闊田園風光充滿祥和氣氛的地方。此外，附近也有裡面有被稱作鶴沼的有名沼澤的大型的鶴沼公園。商店的著名商品是使用當地原料所製作的豆腐。厚片油豆腐（將豆腐厚切大塊拿去油炸的食品）也很受歡迎。使用豆腐來製作的冰淇淋也很有名。

Tsurunuma (Urausu Town) is a road station on route 275 in the countryside, about 65 kilometers north of Sapporo. When driving to the northern part of Hokkaido from Sapporo, this might be a good spot to take your first rest. Tsurunuma Park is near this road station. ’Tsuru’ stands for crane (bird), and ‘numa’ means marsh. At the shop, tofu is popular, and also other foods featuring tofu. Their tofu uses soy beans produced in Urausu. Atsuage, which is thickly sliced, deep fried tofu, is especially popular. Ice cream with tofu is unique too.
