防災中心 / Sapporo Citizens Disaster Prevention Center

防災中心（位於札幌市白石區）是可以模擬體驗各種災害，學習在非常時期時應該採取怎麼樣行動的設施。設施內備齊有可以體驗大型地震的搖晃、風速30m的暴風、火災時煙的流動的設備。此外，火災時的滅火器使用方法也可以體驗。這裡也有展示消防車，是可以讓小孩子們一邊遊玩一邊提高防災意識的地方。

Sapporo Citizens Disaster Prevention Center (Sapporo City Shiroishi-ku) is a facility to instruct people how to react in an emergency caused by various disasters. Visitors can use machines and facilities to simulate disasters - a big earthquake, violent winds of 30 meters per second, smoke in a building which is on fire, etc. Visitors can also earn the correct and effective way to use a fire extinguisher. A real fire-engine is also exhibited. They can learn Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), too. This place is not an amusement park, but people - especially children, can improve their thinking and behavior in disasters by using the simulators.
