旭之丘公園（位於芦別市）地點位於山丘上可以遠眺市區景色。這裡也是賞櫻的著名景點，5月上旬很多人會來訪。亨飪廣場4月中旬～10月末可以使用。在免費入場的動物園裡面有日本獼猴、蝦夷鹿、羊駝、迷你馬等哺乳類和天鵝、鴨子、孔雀等鳥類可以觀賞。這裡是北海道內規模最大的免費動物園。
Asahigaoka Park (Ashibetsu City) is on a
hill from where people can view the city. There are many cherry trees, with
people most fond of visiting in early May. The BBQ facilities are free of
charge, and operate from the middle of April to the end of October. The
highlight of a visit to the park is the zoo which doesn’t charge an entrance
fee. There are mammals such as the Japanese macaque (or snow monkey), Ezo deer,
llamas, ponies, and also birds such as swans, ducks and peacocks. It is one of
the biggest free-admission zoological facilities in Hokkaido.
