三段瀑布 / Sandan Taki

三段瀑布（位於芦別市）接近於芦別川的源流。如其名河川就宛如走下三個階梯般往下流。在國道452號沿線上有約20個車位的停車場，從停車場往瀑布步行約3分鐘。因為這裡是毒蛇的一種-蝮蛇的棲息地，請多留意自身安全。堅硬的岩盤是因為地殼變動造成的上下錯位，使河床成為階梯狀，形成了全體落差10公尺，寬度7公尺的瀑布。

Sandan Taki (Ashibetsu City) is a waterfall near the headwaters of Ashibetsu River. ‘Sandan’ stands for three stages, and ‘taki’ means waterfall in English. This waterfall consists of three terraces. In ancient times, a very hard rock-bed shifted vertically because of diastrophism (moving of the Earth’s crust), at which time the rock terraces were created. The total height is 10 meters, and the width 7 meters. There is a parking for about 20 cars on route 452, and it is about a three minute walk from the parking to the waterfall. Visitors need to be careful of mamushi, which is a poisonous snake in Hokkaido.
