支笏湖遊客中心 / Lake Shikotsu Visitor Center

支笏湖遊客中心（位於千歲市）展示著和自然有關的各式各樣的資料。可以透過照片和模型來了解到湖和其周邊的生物、鄰近的火山和湖的歷史以及構成。遊客中心使用太陽能發電，也有使用地熱能源在暖氣設備上，有考慮到不造成環境負擔。是從小孩到大人都可以遊玩的學習設施，也是湖畔散步後的休息場所。

Lake Shikotsu Visitor Center (Chitose City) is in the developed, tourist section of the lakeside. Visitors can learn about the nature around the lake. There are many information panels, photos, taxidermied animals, and dioramas of the landscape to enable visitors to learn how this caldera lake was formed in ancient times. This center is also eco-friendly, as it uses solar panels to generate electricity and geothermal heating to warm the interior of the building. This is an educational facility managed by the Ministry of Environment, as well as a good place to take a rest while walking along the lakeside.
