TAKIKAWA

TAKIKAWA(位於滝川市）是在國道12號線上的道路休息站。位在札幌市和旭川市的約正中間的地點。在道路休息站的藝廊，有展示著滝川市冬季的代表盛事「紙袋燈籠祭」和市內觀光景點的照片。燈籠祭是燭光閃耀動人的光輝，只限定一日的美麗冬季祭典。夏天的道路休息站也會設置販售蔬菜的市場。

TAKIKAWA (Takikawa City) is a road station on route 12, located midway between Sapporo and Asahikawa. A gallery there shows beautiful photos of the highlights of the city. A Lantern Festival is held for one day in mid-winter, with lanterns fashioned out of paper bags used in shops, as a kind of recycling project. Visitors can see photos of this festival and others taken in the city through the year. In summer, a small local market is open at the entrance and fresh vegetables are sold.
