北斗遺跡展示館 / Hokuto Ruins Museum

北斗遺跡展示館（位於釧路市）是蒐集了從後期舊石器時代（約1萬年前）到西元10世紀為止這段漫長的時間中，在這塊土地上人們生活過的痕跡。在這裡不僅僅只是展示從北斗遺跡中出土的石器、土器和金屬製品等生活道具，也在大廳中也重現了實物大的當時的住宅。這裡發掘出了數百個住宅的遺跡。

Hokuto Ruins Museum (Kushiro City) displays relics of the ancient people who lived in the part of the city now known as Hokuto. These people settled there in the late Stone Age which was about ten thousand years ago. Items confirmed to be from the 10th century have been found here. It is such a long period and, later, Ainu people started  living in this area. At this museum, stone implements, unglazed earthenware and metal tools found at the Hokuto site are exhibited. Also, a to scale replica of a  house which ancient people used is exhibited at the hall in the museum.
