煤礦回憶森林公園 / Coal Mine Memorial Forest Park

煤礦回憶森林公園(位於美唄市）是在已經關閉的舊三菱煤礦坑遺址上傳達美唄的煤礦歷史。深度達170m的豎井建築物（巨大的電梯設備）依照當時的樣子被漆成紅色。現在這裡雖然被森林包圍，但昔日這裡是街道。可以在這裡遙想往日的熱鬧情景。

Coal Mine Memorial Forest Park (Bibai City) is a historical park which gives us a feeling of the history of the former Mitsubishi coal mine and the accompanying town. Mitsubishi has long been one of Japan's giant conglomerates, engaging even in heavy industries. In this park, there are two big iron structures. They were big elevator facilities for mineshafts 170 meters in depth. They are painted red, just as when they were still in service. Now, this park is in the forest, but apparently there was a town including houses for mine workers. Visitors can imagine they are traveling back in time.
