2018年的初雪 / The first day of falling snow in 2018

2018年的初雪和積雪非常遲。根據札幌地區氣象局的資料，札幌往年的初雪是在10月28日，積雪是在11月8日。2017年的初雪（10月23日）比較早，積雪（11月18日）比較遲。然而，2018年11月13日至今還沒有觀測到初雪。2016年時，從11月5日的深夜到6日的早上總共累積了40公分的積雪。

According to the Sapporo office of the Japan Meteorological Agency, the first day of falling snow and the first day when the snow settles is very late this year. In usual years, in Sapporo, the first snow fall is recorded around October 28, and the first day of settled snow is on November 8 on average. In 2018, as of November 13, the first snow has not yet been seen. In 2017, the first snow was seen early (October 23), and the first day of settled snow was late (November 18). Interestingly, in 2016, we had over 40 centimeters of snow during one night; from November 5 to 6.
