札幌電視塔(位於展望台入場區域內)有舉辦被稱作「茶心會」的活動，打抹茶體驗和欣賞日本傳統和樂器(琵琶和三味線)的演奏這兩項活動都可在這項活動中體驗得到。抹茶是綠茶的一種，使用在日本的茶道上。其特徵是將熱水注入在抹茶粉上後用專用的刷茶器具刷打而成。參加抹茶體驗需要1000日圓，對象為外國觀光客。可參加的日期與時間如下。
A Matcha making event, and a traditional Japanese musical instrument session is held at Sapporo TV Tower's paid area. It is in front of the elevators on the third floor which go to the Observation deck. Matcha is powdered green tea and is used in the traditional Japanese tea ceremony. The two musical instruments played are the biwa (a four-stringed lute), and the shamisen (three-stringed lute). The name of the event is cha-gokoro-kai, which stands for 'feel what Japanese tea ceremony is like' event. It costs 1000 yen, and is for only overseas travelers.
