支笏湖的湖畔 / The lakeside of Lake Shikotsu

說到支笏湖的湖畔（位於千歲市），一般是指支笏湖溫泉街和其周邊。（在支笏湖還有另一個丸駒溫泉，但是那裡的觀光景點很少。）在這個區域除了有散步道路、公園、瞭望台之外，也有可以學習支笏湖的自然環境和歷史的遊客中心。也有運行需要付費使用的遊覽船。也有數間小吃店。

The lakeside of Lake Shikotsu (Chitose City) usually refers to the area of Lake Shikotsu Hot Springs. The other hot springs is Marukoma Hot Springs in a quiet forest, and there are no facilities for tourists. At the lakeside, there are some sightseeing places such as a footpath walking course, a park, and an observation deck. There is also a visitor center which houses facilities to show the nature, wildlife and the history of the lake. Pleasure cruising is a paid activity, which is popular among tourists. There are some eating houses offering food and drink made using ingredients produced in Hokkaido.
