向日葵之里 / Sunflower Village

向日葵之里（位於北竜町）的最佳觀賞期間是7月下旬到8月中旬。這個時期有數種類，合計約150萬株的向日葵盛開，呈現一片黃橙橙的花海。參觀免費，如果要使用在向日葵花田中建造的迷宮、由農用車牽引的觀光棚車，或是租借自行車則是需要付費。北竜町將向日葵作為振興鄉里的象徵，連路燈也是以向日葵來設計。

Sunflower Village (Hokuryu Town) has 1.5 million sunflowers in the field, made up of several different species. They bloom from the end of July to the middle of August; at which time the field turns completely yellow. It's popular for visitors to take photos while standing in this yellow field. They don't charge for admission or car parking, but there are paid activities such as a maze made in the sunflower field, a carriage pulled by tractor, and rental bicycles. Hokuryu Town is recognized as the town of the sunflower as the town's streetlights' design incorporates the sunflower as its motif. They also produce different goods using sunflowers and their seeds.
