東明車站舊址 / Old Toumei Station

東明車站舊址（位於美唄市）是在1972年時終止服務的美唄鐵路線的車站。現在車站建築物與蒸汽火車同時展示在這裡。這裡也成為美唄市的散步路線之一。二次世界大戰的1945年以後，這個地區以煤礦產業開始急速地興盛起來。因為開採煤礦而使工作人口快速增加，因此在1948年時在這裡設置了東明車站。

Old Toumei Station (Bibai City) is located on the Bibai Railway Line which was discontinued in 1972. An old steam locomotive is preserved and exhibited there, as well as the old station buildings. This place is also known as a spot in Bibai which is a good walking or cycling course to take in nature and old town in the modern city. Historically, the Toumei area was hugely prosperous via its coal mines which were established in 1945 at he end of the Pacific War. The population rapidly increased at that time, and in 1948 Toumei Station was opened.
