釧路拉麵/ Kushiro Ramen

釧路拉麵是北海道在地拉麵的其中之一。釧路的觀光協會和拉麵愛好者的團體將釧路拉麵定義為「清爽的醬油味湯頭配上細卷麵的拉麵」。釧路是漁業繁盛的城市,早期在港口有許多拉麵攤。為了趕快端出拉麵給捕魚回來的漁夫們,因此使用能快點煮好的細麵。

Kushiro Ramen is one of the most famous local ramens in Hokkaido. Kushiro is a city in eastern Hokkaido. It contains thin curled noodles in a soup of light shouyu (soy sauce) taste, according to Kushiro Tourism Association and unofficial organizations of ramen fans. One of Kushiro's important industries is fishing, and there used to be many ramen stands at the port. Fishermen ate ramen soon after they came back to shore. Those stands served ramen quickly to warm the fishermens’ cold bodies. This is the reason for using thin noodles, because it is easily boiled.
