230RUSUTSU / 230 Rusutsu

230RUSUTSU(留壽都村）是位在可以瞭望到被稱作「蝦夷富士」的羊蹄山的絕佳地點的道路休息站。位於連結札幌和面向日本海的Setana町的國道230號線上。在蔬菜的收穫季節時也會販賣留壽都產的新鮮蔬菜和水果。距離夏天是遊樂園、高爾夫球場、冬天作為滑雪場營業的RUSUTSU Resort 也很近。

230 Rusutsu (Rusutsu Village) is a road station where people can take in a great view of Mt. Yotei, which is also known as Ezo Fuji. Ezo is an old name for Hokkaido and Fuji refers to Mt. Fuji. Mt. Yotei is a symbolic mountain in Hokkaido, with a shape closely resembling the iconic Mt Fuji. The road station is on a main road, route 230, which connects Sapporo and Setana Town, which faces the Sea of Japan. The shop in this road station offers vegetables and fruits produced in the nearby villages. Rusutsu Resort is not far from here.

牛乳 / Milk

雖然日本全國各地都有生產牛乳，但北海道的牛乳生產量不僅是日本第一且大幅度領先。「北海道是可以喝到新鮮又美味的牛乳的地方」已經在日本成為一種既定印象。除了在便利商店和超市可以輕鬆購買之外，許多飲食店都有供應牛乳。牛乳製造大廠牌像是雪印MEGMILK、四葉、SATSURAKU等都可以參觀製造工廠。

While milk is produced throughout Japan, Hokkaido is the largest contributor to the country’s milk production, and Hokkaido’s production levels far outstrip other prefectures. Therefore, Japanese people acknowledge that Hokkaido is the land of milk. In fact, people here can enjoy very fresh and tasty milk. It is of course possible to buy Hokkaido milk in convenience stores or supermarkets in Hokkaido, but various eating houses or stalls include milk in their menu. At the factories of big milk companies such as Megamilk, Yotsuba, Satsuraku, visitors can learn about milk, and the production and distribution of milk through Hokkaido and Japan.
