自然體感SIMUKAPPU / Shizen Taikan Shimukappu

自然體感SIMUKAPPU(位於占冠村）是位在國道237號線上的道路休息站。地點接近北海道內的度假勝地之一的TOMAMU。除了有也販賣特產品的蜂蜜和楓糖漿的商店之外，還有數間的飲食店。占冠的木工工藝製品也很有名。這裡也販賣木製雜貨類的商品。另一方面，作為採集砂金的著名地點，也有展示珍貴的砂金的金礦。

Shizen Taikan Shimukappu (Shimukappu Village) is a road station on Route 237. This road station is near Tomamu, which is well known as one of the biggest resort areas in Hokkaido. Shizen Taikan literally means Nature Experience in English. In the shop, local specialties such as honey and maple syrup are sold. As there is a well-known wood crafting studio in Shimukappu, its products like accessories and everyday goods are sold at this road station also. Visitors have several dining options at different restaurants and such. Shimukappu is famous for gold; and there is a showcase dispaying real gold nuggets found in and around the village.
