4月下旬的道東、道北地區 / In the northern and eastern part of Hokkaido in the end of April

四月下旬的道東、道北地區雖然不像深冬一般那麼多，但是在平原地區偶而會有輕微的積雪。從四月上旬開始也偶爾會有像初夏一般陽光普照的日子，但是只要寒流一來氣溫馬上就會下降。尤其是在山區地帶冷熱的溫差更是大。會冷到需要用到一度收起來的冬天的衣服也不是什麼稀奇的事。在隘口處仍然必須使用冬天用防滑輪胎。

In the northern and eastern part of Hokkaido, they sometimes have snow even at the end of April. It is not on the same scale as midwinter, rather light sprinklings, which usually melt during the day. In April, the weather in these areas is quite changeable. Sometimes the highest temperature makes it seem like the beginning of summer. However, when a cold air mass gathers, the thin snow arrives. It’s not unusual to get one's winter clothes back out of the closet after they have already been washed and put away for summer. When driving through mountain passes, winter tyres are necessary.
