舊塘路車站交流所 / Kyu Touro Ekitei Sho

舊塘路車站交流所（位於標茶町）是位在釧路濕原塘路湖畔的歷史建築物。是在1890年為旅客和馬匹所設置的車站。除了有住宿設施的機能之外，也接洽郵遞業務的重要地點。當時在這片土地上的移動方式只有徒步或是騎馬，從釧路到標茶需要3天。之後因為釧路和網走之間的鐵路開通，於1928年關閉了這個設施。

Kyu Touro Ekitei Sho (Shibecha Town) is a historical building located at Lake Touro in Kushiro Marsh. It’s the former post station, which was established in 1890, and it also provided accommodation facilities for both people and horses. Kyu stands for former, and ekitei means postal station. In those days, transportation in eastern Hokkaido was by only walking or horse, with the horses being mainly used for carrying luggage. In addition, it took three days to travel between Kushiro and Shibecha at that time. As a result , this station was established for multiple purposes, including postal services. After the railway between Kushiro and Abashiri opened, the facility was closed in 1928.
