天鵝44NEMURO / Swan 44 Nemuro

天鵝44NEMURO(位於根室市)位在國道44號沿線上,而且是位在風蓮湖眼前的道路休息站。有整面的玻璃,可以瞭望到日本著名的野鳥寶庫的風蓮湖和春國岱。有可以瞭望湖泊的散步道路。也可以觀賞到丹頂鶴和天鵝。餐廳內以海鮮為主的菜單很受歡迎。在鮮魚專櫃有販賣新鮮的海鮮。

Swan 44 Nemuro (Nemuro City) is a road station on route 44 located just in front of Lake Furen. As the exterior wall facing the lake is wide, clear, transparent glass; visitors can view the lake and Shunkunitai, a bushed wetland. There is a wooden walk board along the lake, which assists in making Lake Furen a mecca for bird watching. Sometimes, even red-crowned cranes or whooper swans can be seen. At the restaurant, they have many seafood dishes using fresh fish, or crabs caught off Nemuro. Route 44 connects Kushiro City and Nemuro City.












浦臼町鄉土史料館 / Urausu History Museum

浦臼町土史料館(浦臼町)使用解說版來展示町內的主要歷史。也有很多開拓人民的生活工具和農業機具的展示,更甚者有林業、商業、交通、通訊、防災、教育、宗教等各式各樣的資料。有展示日本的著名偉人,坂本龍馬的相關資料。坂本龍馬的姪子-坂本直寬也是開拓者之一,在龍馬的養子過世之後支撐龍馬一家人的生活。

Urausu History Museum (Urausu Town) displays information panels to inform about the town’s history. It also houses various unique goods used in the daily lives of the people who came there to settle the area. Visitors can learn about their forest industry, commercial activities, transportation, telecommunications, disaster prevention, education, religion and such. As their unique point, they exhibit goods related to Sakamoto Ryoma, one of the more popular historic people in Japan. The reason for his fame is that Sakamoto Naohiro, a nephew of Ryoma, was in the first generation when the town was cultivated. Moreover, it includes personal belongings of Iwamura Michitoshi, the first governor of Hokkaido.
















Odaitou

ODAITOU(位於別海町)是在國道244號沿線上的道路休息站。緊鄰從冬天到春天有數百隻天鵝會遷徙到這裡的「白鳥台」。腹地內設有為了祈願北方領土歸還所建設的大型雕刻作品。此外也有展望台,可以遠眺到野付半島豐富的自然以及國後島。1樓餐廳著名的扇貝料理很受歡迎。2樓和3樓為北方領土的資料館。

Odaitou (Betsukai Town) is a road station on route 244 located next to Hakuchou Dai, where a lot of swans take a rest during their long migration south. Hakucho means swan in English. In the grounds of the station, there is a tall sculpture which serves as a symbolic monument hoping that the Northern Territory is returned to Japan. It also has an observation deck which offers a great view of Notsuke Peninsula and Kunashiri Island. The popular choices at the restaurant on the first floor is dishes using scallops. On the second and third floor, there is a museum on the Northern Territory.

















野付半島自然中心 / Notsuke Peninsula Nature Center

野付半島自然中心(位於別海町)位在半島的先端,可以學習到半島的地形、自然環境和動植物等知識。從這裡再步行30分鐘的地方有椴原。可以學習到因地盤下陷導致海水倒灌使冷杉林逐漸枯萎的過程。在冬季時流冰也會靠近,成為觀察流冰的據點之一。1樓有商店和食堂。

Notsuke Peninsula Nature Center (Betsukai Town), located at the tip of the peninsula, is great for visitors to learn about the penisula's unique geography, natural environment, and animal and plant life. Furthermore, this is the base to visit Todowara, which is the sightseeing highlight of the peninsula (30 minutes walk on the sand and wooden boardwalk from this center). Visitors can learn how Todowara was created (after land subsidence, seawater inundated the area and Todomatsu pine tree colony withered.) Also, in winter, this center is a base for off shore drift ice sightseeing. On the first floor, there is a shop and restaurant.
