黃金岬海濱公園 / Ougon Misaki Seaside Park

黃金岬海濱公園（位於留萌市）如其名是可以瞭望閃爍黃金色光輝的夕陽的地點而有名。此岬角過去也是鯡魚漁業的監視台。大群的鯡魚邊閃爍著黃金色光輝一邊朝向岸邊靠近因此而被稱作黃金岬。夏天時期小孩子會來釣小螃蟹和遊玩。附近奇特的岩石也很多。

Ougon Misaki Seaside Park (Rumoi City) is famous for its beautiful sunset, where the seawater shines with a golden hue. Ougon stands for gold and Misaki means cape. This cape used to be where the local herring fisherman would appraise the sea condition before setting forth on their fishing voyages. Unlike nowadays, herring were abundant then, and they usually swam towards the shore. They took on a golden color in the sunset, and the fishery got money, so the name of this cape became Ougon. In summer, this park, with its strange shaped rocks, is fun for children to catch small crabs.
