夕陽台展望台 / Yuhidai Observation Deck

夕陽台展望台（位於斜里町）是可以看到沈入鄂霍次克海夕陽的著名景點。春、夏、秋三季都可以眺望到被夕陽染成朱紅色的海洋。冬天則是可以看到浮著流冰的海面閃耀著光芒。依照季節不同有各式各樣的欣賞方法。這裡從以前開始也是年輕情侶的熱門約會地點。距離知床溫泉很近，雖然距離港口也很近但是因為位於高台上，建議開車前往。

Yuhidai Observation Deck (Shari Town) is famous for its view of the sunset towards the Sea of Okhotsk. From spring to autumn, the surface of the sea becomes a vermilion color, reflecting the sunset light. In winter, the ice floe blocks shine like orange sapphires. Yuhi means sunset and dai stands for a hill or observation deck. For decades, Yuhidai has been a popular dating spot for young travellers, according to the official Shari Town website. It’s not far from Shiretoko Hot Springs and the port area (with road station), but a car is necessary to visit Yuhidai with ease.
