TESIO(位於天鹽町)是位在國道232號線上的道路休息站。
Teshio (Teshio Town) is a road station on
route 232, which runs along the coast of the Sea of Japan. This road station is
on the site of the former Teshio Station, which was discontinued in 1987 when
the Haboro Line of Japanese National Railways was demolished. At the shop,
Japanese shijimi clam-related products are sold as one of Teshio town’s local
specialties. Potato croquet containing shijimi on their take-out menu clams are
popular. Moreover, there is a gallery to show works by artists who were born,
grew up, or who live in Teshio Town.
