米町公園（釧路市）位在如小山一般的高台上。從建造成宛如燈塔形狀的展望台可以在眼下眺望釧路港。放晴的日子除了可以看到摩周岳、斜里岳等名峰之外，甚至可以看到日高山脈。米町在釧路當中也算古老的地區，20世紀初為此地的經濟的中心。公園的對面有免費可參觀的歷史資料館。
Yonemachi Park (Kushiro City) is on a hill
on a small peninsula. There is a free observation deck which looks like a
lighthouse. Visitors can take in Kushiro Harbor from here. On a fine day, it is
possible to see the famous and beautiful Mt. Mashu-dake and Mt. Shari-dake. It
is also possible to see the Hidaka Mountains in the Tokachi District. Yonemachi
is an older part of Kushiro and used to be the economic center in the beginning
of the 20th century. There is a free historical museum in front of Yonemachi
Park.
